We offer protection plans of different lengths. You can purchase a protection plan for 1, 2, or 3 years. Our plans start on the date of purchase.

Once the 1-year manufacturer’s warranty expires, your warranty continues for the remaining length of the plan purchased with coverage for mechanical, operational, or electrical failures from regular use and power surges.

How do you file a claim?

Filing a claim on the customer Protection Plan is easy, fast, and convenient. You can call 877-248-7707 or, better yet, file online using Extend’s web-based AI – Kaley. You go to customers.extend.com to chat with them. 

You will need the following information:

To file a claim, you will need the email address you used at the time of purchase or the contract ID. The contract ID can be found in the email you received after the purchase detailing the protection plan coverages.

***Please make sure you file your claim within 30 days of the damage occurring.***

What does it mean if my claim is in "Review."

It means that Extend customer service needs additional information from you. They will contact you via email, asking for more details to continue processing the claim. Please remember to respond to them promptly to ensure a fast resolution.

Can I cancel my protection plan?

Yes, you can cancel up to 30 days from the date of purchase and receive a full refund unless you have filed a claim. After the manufacturer’s warranty expires or if you have filed a claim during it, you will receive a prorated refund. If you have filed a claim and received a replacement, your contract is fulfilled, and you will not receive a refund.
