There are two primary areas of service, mechanical and electrical. Mechanical parts are common to all bicycles, and electrical parts are anything with a wire or circuit board, including the battery.
Our bikes use standard components, and any local bicycle repair shop should be able to service parts such as the shifter, chain, crank, fork, tires, spokes, etc. Bicycle industry standards have been followed when designing our bikes, making it easy to find upgrade and replacement parts at bicycle repair shops as well.
Many local bicycle repair shops now also service electrical components. We have designed our bikes so that you can reach parts easily and cables can be easily unplugged. Many of the electrical components are modular and can be swapped by someone with electrical component training. All screws are stainless steel hex types so that they can be easily removed with common tools. We do have detailed videos on how to perform many service steps that you may use or show to your local shop. In addition, the LCD display can self-diagnose basic errors, and there are some other tests we can help you perform to determine a problem.
If a part is defective, we will repair or replace. If the part is out of warranty, we will repair it or sell a replacement from our stock. We work quickly and effectively to help solve your issues, and have applied our industry knowledge in learning what parts to stock and how to help customers.
