The RipCurrent S arrives in Class 2 mode. This means the bike has a 750 Watt motor and the throttle and pedal assist are limited to 20 mph. The e-bike is capable of being unlocked to achieve Class 3 (28 mph) performance where allowed. The bike can also be set to “Off-Road” mode, where the speed is limited only by the power available to the motor and the rider’s input.
