Your kickstand is held in place by 2 Allen screws. One variation uses security nuts, while the other screws straight into the kickstand. Both of these setups have an adjustable slider for altering the length. This allows you to set your bike according to your preferences, or if you have a different type of tire.
For both setups, you will need a 5mm Allen wrench. For the variation with rear nuts, you will also need a crescent wrench or 10mm wrench.
Using a 4mm Allen wrench, you can adjust the Allen screw behind the kickstand and slide it up and down to adjust the height. Always test that the length will properly hold the bike before use.
