The cadence sensor depends on the measurement of the 11 tooth cog to sense your speed and movement.
- Moisture can mix with dirt and build up to interfere with pickup
- Excess water can interfere with pickup
-In cold weather moisture, water, salt, snow can build up and temporarily block the sensor.
Be sure to always remove any debris as the sensor can be damaged.
Steps to fix
- Test throttle is working
-See your gears are clean of debris, mud, frost
-Check the spacing in your sensor
-Deactivate torque sensor to isolate issue as a cadence issue
-Take a picture of your sensor/cog area
